Report types
When you create a new report in Deem Insight, the first thing you choose is the report type. The type decides how the report gets its data and how it is presented, and it changes which settings are available in the report editor.

Choosing a type
Section titled “Choosing a type”- Choose Pivot report for interactive analysis where users drill through dimensions and periods — this is the most common type.
- Choose Printed report when you need a precisely formatted, print-ready output (for example a PDF invoice or statement) built from a JasperReports template.
- Choose List report for a straightforward tabular listing without drill.
- Choose Dashboard app to build and host a custom dashboard or app on the report’s data (it also exposes a Data feed for external systems such as Excel).
- Choose External page to surface a report that lives outside Deem Insight.
- Choose Files for a report based on files/documents.
